The Piceance Basin is an important source of natural gas for the State of Colorado, and the United States. The majority of Terra’s production comes from the proven Williams Fork formation, with upside potential in the deeper Mancos and Niobrara shales. These deeper formations have been recently estimated to contain upwards of 66 trillion cubic feet of natural gas; enough to power our country for more than two years.
