Peter R. Kagan is based in New York, joined Warburg Pincus in 1997 and leads the firm’s Energy team. Prior to joining Warburg Pincus, Mr. Kagan worked in investment banking at Salomon Brothers in New York and Hong Kong. Mr. Kagan is a Director of Delonex Energy, Laredo Petroleum, and Navitas Midstream Partners. In addition, he is a Director of Resources for the Future, Street Squash, and a Trustee of Milton Academy. Mr. Kagan received a B.A. cum laude from Harvard College and J.D. and M.B.A. degrees with honors from the University of Chicago.
