- Health Insurance
Effective the first of the month after your employment starts, medical and prescription coverage is available for you and your eligible dependents. You can choose from a POS network or High-Deductible Health Plan with a Health Savings Account. Terra will make a company contribution for any employees selecting the HDHP.
- Dental Insurance
Effective the first of the month after your employment starts, you and your eligible dependents can participate in a dental plan that features a network of dental care providers whose services can be accessed at discounted rates.
- Vision Insurance
Effective the first of the month after your employment starts, you and your eligible dependents will have access to vision coverage, which includes discounted exams, lenses and prescription glasses.
- Basic Life Insurance
Terra provides group life insurance up to 2 times your annual base salary, at NO cost to the employee.
- Income Protection Benefits
Terra offers short-term and long-term disability benefits that provide eligible employees with income protection for injury or illness. This is a company-paid premium with a benefit of up to 100% of your weekly earnings in the case of a short-term disability. Subject to eligibility requirements.
- AD&D Insurance
Terra provides Accidental Death and Dismemberment coverage up to 2 times your annual base salary, at NO cost to the employee.
- Optional Life and AD&D Insurance
Terra offers optional life and AD&D plans available for purchase to employees. Coverage may be elected for the employee, spouse and/or child(ren). This cost is borne by the employee (not Company-paid).
Terra offers a 401(k) savings plan in which you can enroll and defer before-and/or-after tax contributions. The company will match up to 8% of employees contributions. Employees are fully vested immediately.
- Flexible Spending Accounts: Health Care and Dependent Care Spending Account
These IRS-regulated benefits provide the option of deferring pre-tax dollars towards qualifying expenses. The FSA Health Care allows for dollars to be set aside for qualifying out-of-pocket medical expenses. The Dependent Care Spending Account allows for up to $5,000 to be set aside annually for the care of qualifying dependents.
- Paid Time Off
In addition to paid holidays, Terra provides PTO ranging from 3-6 weeks per year. Veterans will receive credit for military service.

Most positions are eligible to work the 9/80 schedule, thereby providing work/life balance.
